Go pink at the Hairdresser this October

Wednesday, 09 June 2010 13:53

jun10_n12Hundreds of hairdressers across Australia will turn pink this October as part of Pink Me!, a fundraising campaign aiming to raise thousands of dollars for the McGrath Foundation during Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Salons can purchase limited edition pink Easydry eco-towels, with $25 from every box sold donated to the Foundation, and salon staff are encouraged to wear pink clothing and accessories during October.

Pink Me! is the biggest collaboration between salons and manufacturers, including Easydry, Shortcuts Software, L’Oreal Professional, Instyle and Boutique Marketing, that hairdressing has ever seen.

General Manager of Easydry, Gavin Hinton, hopes hairdressers across Australia will get behind the campaign. “We want as many salons to get on board as possible, so that clients can’t miss the message that pink is perfect during October,” said Gavin.

So next time you’re at the salon, make sure you encourage your hairdresser to get involved and go pink this October! They can find out more and order their limited edition pink eco-towels here. Orders must be placed by 31 July.
