Meet the McGrath Foundation team!
The McGrath Foundation team is dedicated to its mission of ensuring that no one goes through breast cancer without the care of a McGrath Breast Care Nurse.
Our board
Glenn McGrath AO
Co-founder & PresidentLeveraging Glenn’s profile as an international cricketer and learning from Jane’s personal experience, the Foundation was established to place breast care nurses across the country. Upon Jane’s passing in 2008, Glenn became Chairman and played an integral role in both managing the Board and engaging the community behind the Foundation’s activities.
In September 2013 Glenn assumed the role of President of the Board. In this role, Glenn is committed to upholding the vision of the Foundation and representing the Foundation through major initiatives.
Glenn participates on a pro–bono basis and donates his time spent on Foundation business.
John Conde AO
ChairmanJohn is also the Chairman of Cooper Energy Limited, President of the (Commonwealth) Remuneration Tribunal and Deputy Chairman of Whitehaven Coal Limited. He is a Director of Dexus and a Member of the Independent Parliamentary Expenses Authority.
John has been a pro-bono Director of the McGrath Foundation since 2012 and Chairman since September 2013.
Terry Brown
Independent Non-Executive DirectorTerry has been a pro-bono Director of the McGrath Foundation since August 2005.
Tracy Bevan
Foundation Ambassador & DirectorTracy was nominated for Australian of the Year in 2012 and again in 2017. She has been an Australia Day Ambassador since 2014 and was the 2018 winner of the Judges’ Choice Collaborator Award at the Pro Bono Impact Awards.
Tracy has been a Director of the McGrath Foundation since December 2008.
Glenys Beauchamp AO PSM
Independent Non-Executive DirectorMost recently Glenys was Secretary of the Australian Government Department of Health from 18 September 2017 to 28 February 2020, when she retired from the Australian Public Service.
In 2010 Glenys was awarded a Public Service Medal for coordinating Australian Government support during the 2009 Victorian bushfires. In the 2023 Australia Day Honours, Glenys was appointed an Officer of the Order of Australia.
Glenys has been a pro-bono Director of the McGrath Foundation since June 2020.
Christine Holman
Independent Non-Executive DirectorChristine also sits on the Boards of non-for-profit organisations, including The Bradman Foundation, The State Library of NSW Foundation, and the ICC T20 Cricket World Cup LOC.
In her previous executive capacity, as both CFO & Commercial Director of Telstra Broadcast Services, Christine brings a deep understanding of legacy and emerging technologies and digital transformations. During her time in private investment management, Christine assisted management and the Board of investee companies on strategy development, mergers & acquisitions, leading due diligence teams, managing large complex commercial negotiations, and developing growth opportunities.
Christine has an MBA and Post-Graduate Diploma in Management from Macquarie University and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Christine is a member of Chief Executive Women (CEW) and the International Women’s Forum (IWF).
Christine has been a pro-bono Director of the McGrath Foundation since July 2020.
Our leadership team
Holly Masters
CEOHolly has a wealth of experience building and developing brands globally across the FMCG, retail, beauty, media and telecommunications sectors. Before joining the Foundation, she worked for Estée Lauder Companies where she held a variety of roles over 12 years including Vice President General Manager of Clinique Asia Pacific, based in Hong Kong.
Previously, Holly led brands including Jo Malone London, La Mer and Molton Brown across Australia and co-founded mission21, a marketing and communications agency in London.
Today Holly manages a team of skilled professionals at the McGrath Foundation who are focused on helping individuals and families through breast cancer. She is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, a member of Chief Executive Women and Chair of the Leaders for IMPACT Network: Greater Sydney Hub.
Holly is passionate about building strong and collaborative partnerships, enjoying life to the full and making the most of every moment.
Jane Mahony
Chief Nursing Program OfficerJane has lent her skills and expertise to many facets of the Foundation including the role of Chief Operating Officer. Since November 2014, Jane has been Mission Programmes Director, overseeing the McGrath Breast Care Nurse Program and evolving the Foundation’s breast education and awareness programs.
Ryan Barlow
Chief Marketing and Revenue OfficerRyan joined the McGrath Foundation in September of 2017, as Marketing and Revenue Director, to lead the Foundation’s fundraising and marketing activities.
Michael Cussen
Chief Financial OfficerNader Tashvighi
Chief Technology OfficerNader is an experienced IT leader, who has built technology capability and lifted the IT maturity in some of Australia’s largest not-for-profits, including The Benevolent Society and Uniting. Nader brings an enterprise perspective to The McGrath Foundation, offering innovative technology solutions.
Nader leads the organisation’s Digital Strategy, one of the core elements of our overall strategy.
Our nurses
Our 233 McGrath Breast Care Nurses are the heart and soul of our organisation. McGrath Breast Care Nurses are an essential part of the complex team providing care to people with breast cancer.
