What do the NRL and the McGrath Foundation have in common? Plenty of pinked up players, passionate supporters and the 2011 Harvey Norman Women in League Round, of course! We’re excited to be involved as Rugby League’s One Community charity partner for the round for the second year running, and we’re looking forward to what’s planned across the month of June.
During last year’s Harvey Norman Women in League Round, generous NRL fans helped us raise an amazing $120,000, enough to fund a McGrath Breast Care Nurse in the community for one year. This year, with your help, we’re aiming to make the Harvey Norman Women in League Round just as pink! There’s no prize for guessing what our favourite colour is and during the Harvey Norman Women in League Round, it’s also the favourite colour of a number of NRL teams, who will wear special pink jerseys, shorts, socks and boots for the round.
