Our long-term partners, Compass Pools, have just hit a phenomenal milestone… they’ve officially raised over one million dollars in support of our mission since first joining us as a partner in 2016!
We were honoured to join the Compass Pools team alongside Samantha Burns, the McGrath Breast Care Nurse they fund, to celebrate the incredible milestone at their Sydney conference last week.
‘Understanding the impact that breast cancer has on so many Australian families, we felt a deep sense of responsibility to give back to the community in a meaningful way. Supporting the vital work of the McGrath Foundation was our heartfelt way of giving back.’

As part of their heartfelt commitment, the Compass Pools team proudly donate $150,000 every year in order to fully-fund Sydney-based McGrath Care Nurse, Samantha Burns.
McGrath Breast Care Nurses, like Samantha, provide trusted and knowledgeable support to families impacted by breast cancer. And it’s with the support of generous partners like Compass Pools that our nurses can continue to provide free support to families all across Australia when they need it most.
‘The most important thing I do for my patients is to listen to their cares, concerns, and frustrations, and provide supportive answers to any questions to help alleviate their stresses and worries. I like to offer them the chance to do that so they know they’re not alone. It gives them a chance to feel human and ‘normal’ again.’
