Designer Samantha Wills is teaming up with the McGrath Foundation to raise funds to place McGrath Breast Care Nurses in communities across Australia and to help increase breast cancer awareness in young Australian women.
The much loved jewellery brand has created four Limited Edition pink pieces to sell throughout October, Breast Cancer Awareness Month, with all proceeds going to the McGrath Foundation.
Wills will also design and hand make five couture pieces to be auctioned off with these proceeds also being added to the fundraising total. The exclusive collection will officially go on sale September 14th until October 31st at SAMANTHAWILLS.COM.
The styles were specifically designed with blush pink stones featuring the signature McGrath Foundation ‘together, we can make a difference’ logo. Both Samantha Wills and the McGrath Foundation team are extremely excited about the friendship.
The New York based Australian designer is passionate about paying it forward, ‘I am aware that, in the fashion industry, there is no ‘need’ for what I do. It is respectfully, an industry of ‘want’ ‘ not need. I think every fashion house should be looking to give back in some way, whether it is product, time, profile or awareness.’ Wills says, ‘I am in admiration of the McGrath Foundation’s hard work and dedication. I am very excited to be involved.’
With pink products starting from as little as AU$74, SAMANTHA WILLS aims to raise in excess of AU$10,000 for the McGrath Foundation. The SAMANTHA WILLS pink jewellery is a limited edition style and will be available on the ‘pink’ page’ at www.samanthawills.com.
