Meet some of our Partners
bp
bp has proudly partnered with us since 2013 and have raised over $3.5 million for the McGrath Foundation.
As a nurse-funding partner, bp fund the position of McGrath Cancer Care Nurse, Louise James, based in Mildura. We are incredibly thankful for their support.
bp embraces the partnership in a number of different ways that benefit their staff, franchisees, suppliers and customers. These have included large-scale in-store campaigns, competitions for stores, suppliers and staff and engagement sessions so stakeholders can learn more about the impact a McGrath Cancer Care Nurse has on people experiencing cancer and their families. It’s in these moments that genuine connections are also formed, with staff members often revealing their own personal experience with a McGrath Cancer Care Nurse.
The Upside
The Upside have been a partner since 2022, each year launching limited-edition apparel and donating profits to help fund McGrath Cancer Care Nurses, while also raising awareness about the importance of breast health.
Social media has played a large part in the success of their campaigns, with social posts by The Upside’s Founder Jodhi Meares and other high-profile influencers.
Prominent in-store POS has provided customers with information about the importance of early breast cancer detection. Customers are also encouraged to share their purchase with the hashtag #shoppink which has prompted many to share their own personal stories.
Beyond customer engagement, the partnership also significantly boosts team morale in stores and at the head office, with engagement sessions featuring a McGrath Cancer Care Nurse and patient highlighting the impact our care makes while uniting everyone in a shared commitment to making a positive impact.
Snap-On Tools
Our collaboration with Snap-On Tools was launched at their annual conference for their network of over 180 franchisees in July 2024.
After our Ambassador & Director, Tracy Bevan shared our story and the impact that our nurses have on people experiencing cancer, Snap-On Tools raised their original fundraising target from $100,000 to $250,000 – a truly remarkable commitment inspired by a shared connection to cause by many franchisees who also chose to share their experiences with cancer.
The Socket to Breast Cancer campaign ran in October 2024 with a selection of pink tools and merchandise sold by franchisees nationwide. The success of this campaign inspires other businesses to consider how they can make a difference by joining with us for a shared purpose – to ensure that no one goes through cancer without the care of a McGrath Cancer Care Nurse.
