“This is an incredible achievement acknowledging Glenn’s tireless advocacy for families impacted by cancer and his work to ensure no one with cancer in Australia misses out on the care of a cancer care nurse,” says McGrath Foundation CEO Holly Masters.

Glenn was cited for his “distinguished service to community health through breast cancer support, and to cricket as an international coach”.

The McGrath Foundation currently funds 261 McGrath Cancer Care Nurses who have supported over 150,000 individuals and their families experiencing cancer across Australia.

Glenn was previously appointed a Member of the Order of Australia in the Australia Day Honours in 2008 for service to cricket as a player and to the community through the establishment of the McGrath Foundation.
