Celebrating 10 years with Tama

We couldn’t be prouder to celebrate a fantastic decade of partnership with Tama Australia, who have been unwavering supporters of the McGrath Foundation since 2014.

Together with their community of Australian farmers and contractors, Tama Australia have raised over $500,000 by pinking up farms across Australia in support of our mission to ensure that no one goes through breast cancer without the care of a McGrath Breast Care Nurse.

Across the nation, Tama cotton and silage wraps can be spotted in farming communities. As a supplier of the world’s leading crop baling solutions, Tama wanted to create a highly impactful activation, while raising funds to support families in rural communities experiencing breast cancer.

“It’s been a privilege working with the McGrath Foundation, building this together and getting us to where we are today with over $500,000 raised with support from our customers.”

Over the last decade Tama have turned the landscape pink through the inception of pink silage wrap and covers, netwrap and cotton wrap, encouraging farmers to participate in this initative. By choosing these products, it has opened the door for discussion of Breast Cancer research, prevention and treatment.

The initiative has grown to mean so much to rural communities throughout Australia and the McGrath Foundation, ensuring that much needed funds are directed towards Breast Care Nurses in our regional and rural communities.

“The McGrath Foundation was a natural fit for us being involved in rural and regional communities across Australia, the backbone of our business, who we are proud to support. It’s an amazing achievement for all and we can’t wait for the next 10 years” Jason Amos, Tama Oceania Commercial Director.

We love seeing the cotton and hay bales dotted across farms around Australia, knowing that the more of them we see, the more McGrath Breast Care Nurses we can place in communities where they’re needed most. So next time you’re driving through regional Australia, keep an eye out for the pink bales around the area and know that  a donation from every roll goes towards supporting individuals and their families experiencing breast cancer.
