Owned by Gavin Transport, the Pink Trailer (built by Drake Trailers) departed from the fair shores of Brisbane on Monday 15 March on its Australia-wide journey promoting breast care awareness and aiming to raise a phenomenal fundraising target of $500,000 for the McGrath Foundation!
This magnificent hot pink trailer, being towed by an equally ‘Hot Pink’ Western Star Prime Mover, will make its way through Sydney across the Sydney Harbour Bridge, stopping in Melbourne for the Truck and Trailer Show, then onto Perth via Adelaide and Kalgoorlie. The Pink rig will also carry a Western Star Prime Mover similar to the one towing the Drake Trailer but in white. It is travelling on the back of the Pink rig for the whole journey, as shown on the below photo, and will be auctioned off along the way.
To mark the arrival of the Pink Truck & Trailer in Perth Gavin Transport will host a black tie dinner at the WACA on 26 March, the final fundraising element which will hopefully see the complete initiative raise the magical sum of $500,000.
The McGrath Foundation would like to say a massive thank you to Gavin Transport, Drake Trailers and Western Star Trucks, in particular Eamonn and Julie Gavin from Gavin Transport, for all their hard work to pull off such an amazing awareness and fundraising activity.
